The MSCA has selected the Chambered Nautilus (Nautilus pompilius) as its symbol. This ocean creature, dating back hundreds of millions of years, regularly recreates itself in an adverse and hostile environment. We believe the Chambered Nautilus represents the struggles of MS patients and their capacity to persevere. Those efforts — recovering, continuing through adversity and constantly redefining themselves — are a parallel to this timeless creature. |
